Sondy Ward

My name is Sondy Ward and I was born in Penrith, NSW, to Italian migrant parents. One of my earliest memories is that of painting a river on paper at the age of four. As a young mum living in Melbourne, I travelled to Geelong twice a week for two years to complete a BA in Visual Arts, majoring in English Literature and Visual Arts. I also completed a Grad Dip Arts in Art and Community Development at Eastern College.

I am a wife, mother, grandmother, artist, writer and have been on boards and CEO of a not-for-profit organisation. I love to paint, draw, write, cook, host visitors, travel and garden (not all at once). I also love to release people into their callings.

I find myself renewed drawing on God’s creative spirit. I hope that as you engage with my images that you too would be re-created, thinking and experiencing life in new ways.

I run art and spirituality workshops on ‘Identity’ for small groups. I also teach art and can be available to paint at conferences.
