Sydney Christian Male Voice Choir Inc

The Sydney Christian Male Voice Choir Inc was founded in 1952 as The Sydney Festival Male Voice Choir along the lines of the Gospel Male Voice Choirs in England and Scotland. The choirs’ name changed in 2020 but the choirs’ motto of “Proclaiming Jesus No Other Name” is still the same.

The Choir has been privileged to proclaim the good news of God’s salvation through Christ Jesus in churches, public halls, nursing homes and even prisons. A typical program consists of choral items interspersed with solos, quartets and musical items, and a gospel message.

The Choir sometimes undertakes trips to regional NSW, and joins with similar Choirs from Bundaberg, Brisbane and Melbourne to present Festivals of Male Voice Praise in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne.
